 Cartype : Lagonda logo
Both LG6 and V 12 ranges featured a Rapide model but, in both cases, it was a much "tamer" car than the LG45R and the bodywork is normally a close coupled drophead or tourer not very different from the standard cars and with slight differences in the engine.
For this model Lagonda decided not to build the bodywork themselves, probably for space reasons and the standard bodies were supplied by Abbott of Farnham, although several other coachbuilders performed on this chassis.
A new design of radiator was employed for both models with a deeper top tank and a curved top line to be slats, imparting a rather melancholy expression to the front.

The Model 57 was chambered for the standard 7.62x25mm Tokarev round while the Model 70 was identical except it was chambered for 9x19mm Parabellum.
The Yugoslav 7.62x39mm Model 59 rifle was an almost exact copy of the Soviet SKS, while the better-known 59/66 rifle was modified in several ways.
The Steyr-Mannlicher Model 1895 was shortened and renamed the M95M, the second ""M"" denoting Mauser, as it was converted to use standard Mauser stripper clips, given a tangent Mauser rear sight while its outward appearance was made to resemble that of the standard M24 Mauser short rifle.

Cartridges of earlier Austrian Karl Salvator and Dormus "Skoda" machine gun were also dipped in oil before they were dropped into a gravitation-feed charger of the gun, which was not yet a practical weapon).
Some earlier or contemporary revolvers (especially 5 mm and 7 mm pin-fire guns) were unable to push their bullets even to the subcunateous tissue through heavy clothing.
Fortunately to Germans, action of Mauser Model 1898 kurz rifle is able to stand occasionally 5000 atmospheres of chamber pressure if the cartridge case is able to seal it without split of it's head.

The model is intended to be built as a full hull model but it can be done as a waterline model with some minor surgery (Roman kindly provided me with extra parts to make this job easier).

Halinski seem to be aiming to go the plastic modelers one better in the subtlety and detail of their finish, while increasing the opportunity for the builder to excel in the construction area.

The 1996 model Felicia was still based on the floorplan of the Favorit, but quality made huge improvements and in the Czech Republic the car was very popular as it was excellent value for money.
The first model, Voiturette A, was a success and the company was established both within Austria-Hungary and internationally.
The Favorit's appearance was designed by Italian design company Bertone and with some motor technology licensed from western European companies, ?koda engineers succeeded in designing a car comparable to western production.

Instead he prepared a couple of 'surprises': one is a model (the first version of the Fiat Nuova 500 from 1957) and the other is a book about the company, Librumm 1972-2002, to be published in Italian, English, French and German, to be reviewed in a future MAR issue.
Natal Diecast Model Collectors: Until recently Jan de Winnaar was Secretary, Treasurer and Newsletter Editor for the NDMC, but the death of his wife hit him hard, and together with heart problems, he felt that he could not carry on with these tasks, and resigned.
Apparently they thought that models of their latest car were not given adequate coverage in MAR, so they wouldn't supply news of their new models in future unless we gave them more prominence.

 About Us
The Skoda 100mm gun/howitzer (known as the Skoda 100mm model 14/19) was a left over of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and became the most common medium gun amongst smaller nations.
In the main there are Ford Model 'T's and Ford Model 'A's, Morris, Dennis and Renault Trucks, either in the style of Panel vans, open backed delivery trucks with a cargo etc. These are a rich source of Period vehicles along with the less common corgi range.
The gun was improved in 1919 and Skoda continued to make a brisk trade of them well into the early 30's with them with sales to Hungry, Yugoslavia, tools sold to Italy and many smaller countries.
