The lake Skorradalsvatn is the biggest lake in Borgarfjörður.
There is a legend about a worm that was made lie on gold so that the gold might grow, but it was the worm that grew.
It was then thrown into the lake (Skorradalsvatn) and kept getting bigger until it stretched from one end of the lake to the other.
