ROC ARMY UNVEILS SKY BOW MISSILE BASE IN KAOHSIUNG China News [Taiwan] 26 August 1999 -- The Republic of China Army unveiled its Sky Bow surface-to-air missile base in Linyuan in the southern Taiwan county of Kaohsiung County.
The five Sky Bow missile bases in Taiwan are located in Sanchih, a northern Taiwan coastal township; Penghu, an offshore island county off southwestern Taiwan coast; Taichung in central Taiwan; and two bases in the southern Taiwan county of Kaohsiung.
Sky Bow missiles have been deployed in Tungyin, a small islet of the Matsu island group.

 Sky Bow II - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Sky Bow II (TK-2) (天弓二, Tien Kung II) is a surface-to-air missile system developed by the Chungshan Institute of Science and Technology in Taiwan ROC.
The system is a more advanced version of the Sky Bow I (TK-1) SAM with a longer range and limited anti-missile capability.
It is speculated that a more advanced variant of the TK-2 is in development which may be used as a surface-to-surface missile.

Sky Bow II / Tien Kung II Taiwan's overall air defense architecture consists of three sets of Patriot missile systems, primarily intended to intercept guided missiles, along with six sets of Tien Kung I and Tien Kung II missile systems responsible for medium- and high-altitude targets.
The T'IEN-KUNG II SAM is 9.1 meters long, has a diameter of 0.57 meters, weighs 1,100 kilograms, and has a top speed of Mach 4.0, a maximum range of 100 kilometers, and a warhead weighing 90 kilograms.
Based on Taiwan's current level of technology and equipment, the accuracy of Taiwan's guided missile should be within about a 1,000 meter circumference of the aiming point.

Taipei, Aug. 26 (CNA) The Republic of China Army unveiled its Sky Bow surface-to-air missile base in Linyuan in the southern Taiwan county of Kaohsiung County on Thursday amid escalation of tension in the Taiwan Strait.
This was the first time that the ROC military has opened its Sky Bow air-defense missile base for media coverage.
The CIST-developed Sky Bow surface-to-air missiles have been deployed at six army bases, with five in Taiwan and one in Tungyin, a small islet of the Matsu island group which lies closer to mainland China than to Taiwan.
