Skyguide, Switzerland's air traffic services (ATS) provider, is to effect a further 11.3% reduction in the unit rate used to calculate its route charges.
Lower charges for airlines The unit rate used to calculate skyguide's route charges will be reduced by 11.3% to CHF 118.03 on July 1, 2005 (the unit rate has stood at CHF 133.14 since January 1, 2005, when it was reduced from its 2004 level of CHF 142.44).
Skyguide's route charges are calculated using a special formula (aircraft weight x route length x unit rate).
