I'm looking for a system like slashcode (the system that runs slashdot.org) or similar for a non-profit that I work with.
Basically, they need something simple that lets them put up information and announcements, plus have links to some of the online services that they develop (these services don't need to be part of the CMS) I've looked at tikiwiki, slashcode and others.
However, what I really need is something that I can set up and give to them and not be called every week when they have questions.

PTY kept up with strict, as of a month or two ago it was up-to-date with the cvs-head (we switched to it in mid-February).
I sincerely hope the slash-strict theme will be the basis for a new, standard, xhtml them for slashcode.
And I'm glad to hear Tim Vroom is working on a standard xhtml theme for Slashcode.

 phpnuke, slashcode, and other similar code - Got | Apex? Forums
I have always preferred to go the custom code path, but they want something that they can easily add stories to, customize to their needs, and look professional.
I have seen tons of people using PHPnuke, and I have seen others rely on slashcode.
The PHP nuke seems to look better, but i have never really used it.
