I agree with you're reviews of the "Sleepaway Camp" series.  The first "Sleepaway Camp" was a perfect example of a hilarious, entertaining, cheesy slasher movie.  And the ending is what makes this film classic.
For some reaon Sleepaway Camp was ignored and labeled a knock-off of Friday the 13th, Even though it was far superior to any of the above if the truth were known.
First Sleepaway Camp Experience: I was about 6, and living overseas, the cover was really freaky-a close up shot of the water snake victim.
