	Hack Attack
		Burton’s supposed to be Hollywood’s crown prince of daydreams, but Sleepy Hollow is all too depressingly like a cookie-cutter Hollywood thriller with a few desperate fillips.
		In its best moments, Sleepy Hollow seems to be actively mocking its own screenplay, as Depp is constantly squirted with thick, gooey blood like a vaudeville clown getting a face full of seltzer.
		Apart from a brief dream sequence which nods to The Shining and Dario Argento — tellingly dialogue-less, and thus freest from the script — Sleepy Hollow is devoid of anything that couldn’t have been done by a well-trained film school grad assigned to copy Burton’s style.

		Daffy spends a great deal of time and energy explaining and demonstrating what the kid can do, while the kid sits on a couch licking a giant sucker.
		I love Daffy Duck, but I greatly prefer him when he is crazy, in his early days - not only do I prefer his character but also the cartoons seemed to have more value placed upon them.
		Overall this is a fantastic little short that allows Daffy to demonstrate why I always prefer him in full `crazy' mode as opposed to his later incarnations.

		The fourth stamp in the Looney Tunes series, which will be released sometime next year by the US Postal Service, will feature two characters created by Chuck Jones for Warner Bros., Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner.

		All the cartoons on this disc, except for "Wabbit Twouble" (1941), an early Clampett-directed Bugs and Elmer short, were produced between 1948 and 1953.
		The disc also features a lesser-seen cartoon, "Yankee Doodle Daffy" (1943), with Daffy playing a persistent agent trying to sell Porky on his client, a lollipop-licking duck named Sleepy Lagoon — in the process Daffy does hilarious imitations of Al Jolson and Carmen Miranda.
		Some of the very best Daffy cartoons are MIA here, however, including "Robin Hood Daffy," "Beanstalk Bunny" and "Ali Baba Bunny." One can only hope they'll be on the next release.
