Topic: Sleza

  Sudety Mountains
Sleza in particular draws treasure hunters looking for gold, crystals and the mysterious mandrake roots that are shaped like a man and shriek when you pull them from the ground (as featured in a recent Harry Potter film).
The story goes that Sleza mountain arose after the fall of Lucifer, when the victorious angels buried the Devil's entrance to hell.
The entrance is of course still to be found by those brave enough to dig deep, or to follow mysterious and hidden caves.

The mythical atmosphere of this mountain is fostered by mysterious, stony sculptures, boulders marked with aslant carvings of crosses or mysterious stony dams surrounding three of the hightest hills of the massive: Sleza, Radunia, Wiezyca, which have been discovered for many years in its slopes.
