		Slik tripods are not the most popular among serious amateurs.
		The Slik is at least half the weight of the Manfrotto but with an F80 mounted on it with a 70-300mm lens, the pan-and-tilt head takes a fair bit of adjustment to get the composition you want (oooh so frustrating!), and moreover, I find that it vibrates slightly whenever you press the shutter button!
		Also, the Slik's tripod construction doesn't let you get very close to the ground for those tight macro shots...
