On 5 May 2006 the town council of Slubice adopted a new flag and coat of arms.
To settle the matter, in early 1975 a special committee was set the task of selecting the final and indisputable version of S³ubice's coat of arms.At the end of the year it decided on the earliest version which was subsequently approved by the town council in its resolution No III/14/75 of December 30th 1975.
This ensign is incorrectly and not used in Slubice.

The Mayor of Slubice and the Over Mayor of Frankfurt (O) have regular (at least once in a quarter) meetings to estimate results the cooperation between towns and set schedule of activities for the next period.
The municipality of Slubice is realizing tasks aiming at reduction of the air pollution by investing in mineral oil and gas heating systems, which are considerably less harmful, than the ones powered with coal or coke.
The aim of the Slubice project is the ecological renovation of the municipal area and development of infrastructure.
