 Sluis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sluis is the name of both a municipality and a town located in the west of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, in the south-western part of the Netherlands.
Sint Anna ter Muiden, with a population of only 50 (2001), is a small village about 1 km west of the town of Sluis, located on the westernmost point of the Netherlands.
In 1340 the Battle of Sluys was fought nearby at sea.

This study investigates the technical and financial feasibility of a new marina at Sluis, a town in the south west of the Netherlands, near the coast of the North Sea.
The existing discharge channel from Sluis to the sea should be widened and deepened to allow traffic of pleasure craft.
