SLUPSK, Poland, July 9, 2004 - Cisco Systems today announced that it is closely co-operating with the City of Slupsk in building a broadband wireless network to link up government offices, schools, hospitals, libraries and other public institutions.
Cisco is working with the Foundation of Economic Education in Warsaw on the project, which is part of a broader e-Society Initiative designed to demonstrate how affordable and widely-available broadband can contribute to economic and social development in countries which have recently joined the European Union (EU).

Over the last three days here in Slupsk I have been relaxing and accompanying my hosts as they call on their real estate clients around the area that and in that way seeing quite a lot of the countryside.
Slupsk is quite close to the ocean and on these travels we had visited the seaside areas which qualify for the word resorts by the numbers of people packed in to each area.
