		Social Distortion, or Social D, is a punk rock band from Orange County, California that has been influencing music for nearly three decades.
		Social D has had more than a dozen members that have come and gone through their virtual revolving door of talent.
		They released their third album, "Social Distortion," in 1990, with a cover of Johnny Cash's famous song, "Ring of Fire."

	Social Distortion
		Social Distortion has always been one of my favorite bands since I heard one of their songs when I was 16 years old.
		Freeman did not move around much during the show and I think that he was a little afraid of the reaction of the audience as John has been a part of Social D for so long and is therefor a living legend himself and it’s hard to take his place.
		Social D are simply carrying on what they started with that legendary record.

		With Prison Bound, Social Distortion began to metamorphasize from a rather ordinary L.A. hardcore band into a roots rock band willing to make with more than their share of the attitude, and this process continued on their self-titled third album (which was also their major-label debut).
		Social Distortion isn't a great roots rock album, but it's a pretty good one, and it's better and more affecting than anything this band had cranked out before.
