Socialisti Democratici Italiani (SDI) è il nome di un partito politico italiano appartenente all'area della sinistra moderata e democratica, ideologicamente legato al socialismo democratico, che si rifà all'esperienza dello storico Partito Socialista Italiano.
Lo Sdi, pertanto, avvia contatti con i Radicali italiani con l'intento di creare una nuova forza laica, socialista, radicale e liberale, nel nome di "Fortuna, Blair e Zapatero": una prima convention costitutiva si tiene nel settembre 2005, a Fiuggi, siglando il progetto di un soggetto socialista e radicale sul modello spagnolo.

For the SDI (Socialisti Democratici Italiani = Italian Democratic Socialists) I only have found the logo, but no flag.
SDI ("Socialisti Democratici Italiani" = Italian Democratic Socialists ) - The SDI is the more left-wing fraction of the former PSI (Partito Socialista Italiano); for the more right-wing part refer to the NPSI.
FGS ("Federazione Giovani Socialisti"= Federation Young Socialists ) is the youth organization of the SDI, that has its own symbols.

The logo of the PCI was a white circle with the inscription "P.C.I." (in fl) under a red flag (with yellow star, hammer and sickle) partially covering the national flag.
The symbol of the RC is a white circle with a red flag with yellow hammerandsickle in the center; at the top the fl inscription "PARTITO COMUNISTA", at the bottom "RIFONDAZIONE"; on the left a green, on the right a red panel.
Due to the divisions of the communist in Italy, the flag have suffered numerous changes and this one is no longer in use.

Given this, the recent Italian Regional Elections were a big success for the Center-Left Coalition called UNIONE, composed of nine parties, including the Greens (Federazione dei Verdi).
In addition to the Greens, UNIONE is composed of Democratici di Sinistra (Democrats of the Left), Margherita (the Daisy), Comunisti Italiani (Italian Communists), Union of European Democrats (UDEUR), Socialisti Democratici Italiani (Italian Democrat Socialists), Rifondazione Comunista (Refounded Communist Party), Italia dei Valori (Italy of the Values) and Repubblicani Europei (European Republicans).
UNIONE won a majority in 12 out of the 14 regions in elections held in April, receiving approximately two million more votes (about 8 percent) than the Center-Right.
