I think I have a mild form of a mix of agroraphobia and sociophobia.
Agoraphobia is a phobia of open spaces, and sociophobia is a phobia of people in general, or society.
I find myself very uncomfortable when I'm somewhere thats open, and there are many people I don't know around.

Agrophobia is simply the fear that you cannot get to somewhere "safe." At least as I understand it.

I kept hoping she would walk faster than me, but she kept my pace and eventually we reached the other side of the street at the same time.
I can't tell you how uncomfortable this made me. I then went into Circle K and purchased a Mountain Dew (just to get away from the sociophobia situation).
Do other people freeze up in fear when other people sit next to them on a bus?
