		Sodomy is a term of religious origin from the story of Sodom and Gormorrah in the bible.
		The term “sodomy” derives from the name of the ancient city of Sodom, which according to a common interpretation of the Bible, was destroyed by God for its sins (see Sodom and Gomorrah).
		In the King James version of the Bible, the term "sodomy" is used to translate a heterogeneous group of original-language terms, thus linking them to the Biblical account of Sodom and "sodomy" as currently understood in ways that may not have been intended by the authors of the original texts.

		If sodomy is addictive, it is clear that females would evolve to be sexually aroused by sex that suggests it was desired by her own nature as opposed to just adventitiously as a result of having been sodomized, so sodomy being addictive furnishes an explanation for the locations of the female erogenous zones.

	Sodomy
		While the word sodomy in its contemporary context is generally used to mean "ass rape" or at least "anal sex", historically and legally the term has had a much broader meaning.
		Originating in the 11th century, the word sodomy was coined by Saint Peter Damian to replace the earlier term "Sin of Sodom".
		Oddly, although lying with mankind, as with womankind was an abomination in the bible, evidence shows that homosexual marriages were still sanctioned and performed in the Christian church, at least up until the Middle Ages.

	Book Review: Sodomy and the Pirate Tradition
		You have to love a book that begins, "The England that produced three generations of sodomitical pirates was a land far different from modern Britain or America." Burg, a professor of history at Arizona State University, wrote Sodomy and the Pirate Tradition in 1983 and updated it in 1995 (it's now in paperback).
