There is much pressure in Canada to ban smoking in all public places as a means of preventing an estimated 300 deaths per year from exposure to ETS.
The fact that most smokers consume quantities of Primary Tobacco Smoke (PTS) on top of their exposure to ETS that would take the average non-smoker several lifetimes to inhale while living as long or longer than non-smokers should indicate that the ETS scare is nothing more than hate mongering.
This is not only anecdotal evidence that the ETS scare is a disgrace to Canada, it is evidence that this man lived an entire lifetime in spite of his tobacco "addiction" and managed to die from a disease that is common to non-smokers.
