MusicYo.com - Kramer Condor Thin Solid-Body Acoustic Electric Guitar Review
The body is that of an electric, with a fast slim tapered neck, low action and a thin, solid body.
Part of the Kramer line-up, the Condor is a solid body electric acoustic guitar that's elegant in its simplicity, yet big in the sound category.
Although the solid-body electric acoustic guitars aren't for everybody, for those of you with an application for them, they are incredible.

Chapter 8 - Cavitation and Bubble Dynamics - Christopher E. Brennen
Abrupt detachment is the term applied to the case in which the free surface leaves the solid body at a vertex or discontinuity in the slope of the body surface.
Riabouchinsky (1920) suggested one of the simpler models, in which an ``image'' of the body is placed in the closure region so that the streamlines close smoothly onto this image.
Solid boundaries are indicated by the thick lines and the free streamlines by the thick dashed lines.

An Integrated Strategy for Planetary Sciences 1995-2010
The crust of a planetary body is the solid surface seen by remote sensors and landed on by spacecraft.
It is important to place limits on the nature of planetary and satellite differentiation because it tells about the bulk composition as well as the state of the body during and immediately after accretion: the degree of differentiation therefore sets the initial conditions for all subsequent evolution.
The surfaces and interiors of most solid bodies of the solar system include the terrestrial planets and the icy and rocky satellites, primarily orbiting the giant planets, as well as differentiated asteroids; primitive asteroids and comets are considered in Chapter 3.

Riabouchinsky solid -- Facts, Info, and Encyclopedia article
In (Study of the mechanics of fluids) fluid mechanics a Riabouchinsky solid is a technique used for approximating boundary layer separation from a bluff body using (Click link for more info and facts about potential flow) potential flow.
Riabouchinsky solids are typically used for analysing the behaviour of bodies moving through otherwise quiescent fluid (examples would include moving cars, or buildings in a windfield).
The use of Riabouchinsky solids renders (Click link for more info and facts about d'Alembert's paradox) d'Alembert's paradox void; the technique typically gives reasonable estimates for the drag offered by bluff bodies moving through inviscid fluids.

 Ether, Aether, Atma
The Platonic solids form a large crystal grid that our physical Earth was created from, if I understand this correctly, and the geometric Earth grid is part of the mental body of the goddess, Gaia, and hence it is part of our mental body as her humanity.
Related sets of solids are the Archimedean Duals, the Archimedean solids, the Johnson solids, the Catalan solids, the Kepler solids, and the Poinsot solids.
Thus the characteristic of the solid is fixity of form, restriction of movement; that of liquid, mobility; of gas, expansibility; while the fiery element among other things is exempt from gravitation.

 The Structure of Metals
The discussion of tetrahedral, octahedral, and cubic holes in the previous section suggests that the structure of an ionic solid depends on the relative size of the ions that form the solid.

In the body-centered cubic structure, each atom forms a total of 14 bonds to neighboring atoms, although six of these bonds are somewhat weaker than the other eight.

Rigid body - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In physics, a rigid body is an idealisation of a solid body of finite size in which deformation is neglected.
The configuration space of a rigid body with one point fixed is given by the underlying manifold of the rotation group SO(3).
Then, if the body follows a closed orbit in a plane, the angular velocity integrated over a time interval in which the orbit is completed once, is an integer times 360°.

 The Mental Body by A.E.Powell
The mental body is built of particles of the four lower sub-divisions of the mental world, i.e.,, of  mental  matter  which corresponds to the four lower sub-divisions of astral  matter, and  to  solid, liquid, gaseous  and  etheric  matter  of   the physical plane.
The mental unit may be regarded as the heart and centre of the mental body, and upon the relative activity of the different  parts of  that  unit the appearance of that body as a whole to a great extent depends.
The mental unit thus corresponds, in the mental body, to the permanent atoms in the causal, astral, and etheric bodies.

ELASTICITY - LoveToKnow Article on ELASTICITY
If we assumed the earth to be an elastic solid body with moduluses of elasticity no greater than those of steel, the strain (measured from the unstressed state) which would correspond to the stress would be much too great to be calculated by the ordinary methods of the theory of elasticity (~ 75).
A body of which the size, or shape, or both size and shape, have been altered by the application of forces may, and generally does, tend to return to its previous size and shape when the forces cease to act.
In the case of a body of ordinary dimensions it is such internal stress as this which is especially meant by the phrase initial stress.

Kibo : Kibo : Einstein Christmas Story (2002)
Next, Einstein tried his solid-fart powder on the subway, and discovered that every subway car contained exactly one fart shaped like a subway car, but people seemed not to appreciate this valuable discovery after they had to claw their way out of the block of fart before they suffocated.
All that was left of Potsie was a small chunk of meat which had stayed put because it was in the exact center of his body, possibly the middle inch of his small intestine.
Einstein could barely make out the haggard face of the man sticking his head between the bars of the next cell, and he was hard to understand because parts of his tongue seemed to be missing.

Kepler wrote that every point on a luminous body in the field of vision emits rays of light in all directions, but that only those rays can enter the eye that impinge on the pupil, which functions as a diaphragm.
Kepler now had access to Brahe's incomparable collection of astronomical observations, the result of decades of unremitting and painstaking toil by the greatest naked-eye observer of the heavens and the leader of a highly qualified team of astronomers.
Kepler sent copies of his first major work to a number of scientists, including Tycho Brahe, who was soon to become the imperial mathematician of the Holy Roman Empire.

In scholarly guise, the body politic is a degraded, sadly non-referential shadow of the solid image it has been elsewhere.
His body natural (if it be considered in itself) is a body moral, subject to all infirmities that come by nature or accident, to the imbecility of infancy or old age, and to the like defects that happen to the bodies of other people.
Able to convey the abstract concept of rule as a natural and right phenomenon, the body politic's figurative vitality lay in its ability to confer vitality, to cast the mere mortal occupying the throne as the emblem of the state's everlasting life.

Fruiting body morphogenesis depends on the exchange of intercellular signals, temporally and spatially regulated changes in gene expression, and regulation of motility behaviour.
The C-signal becomes important for fruiting body formation after 6 hrs of starvation and is used repeatedly to first induce the changes in cell behaviour that result in aggregation and later to induce sporulation.
Fruiting body formation is an example of pattern formation in a biological system.

 What is Universal Energy?
Most of the body's problem is, with the exception of sodium, potassium, and zinc; all other minerals leave their deposits in the body in solid form after they are broken down.
Answer:The body is made up as is all plants and animals of cells and meridians-nerves that are the electric energy conductors from the cells to the brain and the cells that are the producers of the electric energy, the same as the cells in your car battery.
Answer:The body is operated by electric signals from the brain that each cell in the body develops a small amount of universal D.C. electric energy that the brain uses to signal the cells of the body to work.

How To Develop A Quality Delivery That Provides Power And Control While Reducing The Risk Of Arm Injury
Mechanics is simply about moving the body through space using proper timing in a well balanced and controlled manner so that the pitcher lands and gets into a consistent throwing position.
If you were to video-tape a pitcher with solid mechanics from three angles, side, front and back view and watch it in slow motion, this is what you would notice happening.
Without solid mechanics pitchers struggle with their control, add additional stress to their arms and never maximize their velocity.
