Each of our visits to the Guggenheim has been a completely different experience, a result, we suppose, of the museum's habit of totally reconfiguring the main gallery space for each new exhibit.

We were on a short vacation to NYC and had time for one museum visit - without a doubt we knew it had to be the famous Frank Lloyd Wright designed Guggenheim.
The Guggenheim has a small permanent display and the building is very difficult to find your way around.
I liked the way the spiraling centre of the museum held the temporary exhibitions, with the permanent collections in rooms off the central area.
