  ECURE 2002 Keynote Address Transcript
We have a tremendous amount of digital information, some of it records, some of it just important material for scholarship, however, that is scattered around systems that are not professionally managed.
So we get recordings of this, of things that were historically classroom discussions, quizzes, tests, term papers — all of these things that we used to not be able to capture, or at best they resided somewhere in the files of the occasional professor organized enough to file them and save them.
Institutional records, particularly the public ones, are a very logical and very natural part of the collection of materials that could go into these kinds of repositories.

Expensive studios are for major record companies to put their major (or would-be major) artists in, where they can spend as long as it takes to make their internationally-sounding master work, while the decor and amenities of the place neither challenges their ego or standing in the market place.
Some groove merchants have a talent for getting it all their own way by coming up with a bass riff that never shifts from the beginning of the song until the end: intro, choruses, verses, breakdowns, outro all fitting around the same bass riff.
If need be, remind him how major record companies take at least three months to settle their accounts, but as he will now be wanting your record to happen as much as you do, we are convinced that he will see sense in granting your request.

 Heckler #51 - Music Reviews
Some of the tracks are beautiful and well produced, whereas others are rough and grinding, almost to the point of annoyance.
Some wack-ass MC going “Now throw your hands in the air, and wave ‘em like ya just don’t care!” or some other stupid shit that was already played by the end of the ‘80s.
Some of the songs, such as Crystal and Primitive Notion are louder and more frenzied than any of the songs before, but still as catchy as older hits like Everything’s Gone Green, True Faith, Bizarre Love Triangle, Regret or the timeless Blue Monday.

Some will wonder if they can assimilate, and are frightened of leaving their "comfort zone" for the larger society.
Some of these women can gradually "woodwork" over time as their transitions fade into the past, but others may not be so lucky.
Some will practically go into shock upon learning that the patient in front of them is a postop woman (Lynn recalls one male G.P. doctor almost fainting during a physical exam in which Lynn was undressed, upon being told by Lynn that she was once physically a boy).

 HOT NEW AOR/PROG/HARDROCK/METAL REVIEWS
Some songs are instrumental, but most of the 13 tracks feature good lead vocals by Hugo and I think this is a concept-record.
It’s a pity the songs are all very short, because there are some fantastic songs on the CDs, such as the tracks 3, 4, 8, 10 and 19 from ‘Animetal Marathon 4’ and the tracks 2, 4, 7, 10, 11, 12 (tough boy), 40 and 41 (the longest song, 3 minutes!) from ‘Animetal Marathon 5’.
Concluded, a reasonable new TYGERS record, not as good as their first 4/5 records, but nevertheless recommended to the fans of the band and by far better than anything the band has released after ‘The wreck-age’ (which I still think is the band’s best record ever!).

Weirdsville! Web Radio: The Out Sound from Way In
The Ralph Records 10th Anniversary Radio Special was compiled from more than 60 hours of tape recorded while Mr.

roleplaying tips for roleplayers and gamemaster roleplaying advice for all roleplaying systems and rpgs
The best tip I received, and have not only put into use but have some 'refinements' for, is the use of 'chips' (or other markers) to allow the players to 'reward' one another for their good role-playing.
This system also takes some mature players that are willing to suspend their desire to 'meta-game' and go with the flow of the adventure and the characters that they are asked to play.
Then I found some miniatures games players that were willing to try to 'role-play' this fateful meeting and write up the orders for the troops to follow on the next day (to be played out on the tabletop by these same players).

Toss in some angular parts and a scream or two and the result is a consistently infectious album with an every changing sound that prevents any sense of boredom.
Some tracks like "Record sets" and "Lie to Me" are just his voice and an electric guitar, but other tracks are accompanied with a full band.
As a live recording, it illuminates the accomplishment of the band, as the sound is clean and clear where it needs to be, coarse and soaked with beer where it does not.
