		After watching the documentary "Some Kind Of Monster" I felt like they were a band breaking up but with therapy they stayed together because being in a band is like a marriage.
		This EP is fantastic and it has some cool live tunes to listen too like "The Four Horseman" and "Hit The Lights." Can't wait to listen to the new record by Metallica when it comes out in the near future.
		Some Kind Of Monster was a fantastic documentary that captured the discomfort of making the album St. Anger.

		Some Kind of Monster is an EP, which used to stand for Extended Play -- back in the days of vinyl, EPs were sort of like singles, (only with three or four songs instead of two) hence the "extended." Unfortunately in the days of the compact disc, EP has come to stand for Enhanced Price.
		Vinyl EPs were often printed on 10-inch discs, midway between the single's 7-inch and the LP's 12-inch size.
		With CD technology, physical size doesn't matter anymore, and so an EP is just an excuse to jack a few more dollars out of the fans when you don't have enough material for a full album.

	Rough Edge: Metallica CD Reviews
		"Some Kind of Monster" is really more of a souvenir to the motion picture of the same name than a new Metallica release.
		It's the kind of CD that you're not 100% sure about after just one listen but that continues to get better and better as you keep playing it.
		Unfortunately, this kind of creative courage may continue the erosion of the band's early fans - especially those who can't let go of their "faster is better" credo.
