		Sonic the Hedgehog (Japanese: ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ Sonikku Za Hejjihoggu, or, in non-romanized Japanese, Sonikku Harinezumi) is the flagship character and mascot for the video and arcade game company Sega, which has released a series of video games in which he appears.
		Sonic is a hedgehog who lives on South Island in the Pacific Ocean (on Earth, although some American and European cartoons, comics, books and the English game manuals consider that his home is the planet Mobius).
		Sonic was an early example of the "unusual anthropomorphic animal starring in a platform game" character archetype that was later seen in characters such as Crash Bandicoot, Fox McCloud, Klonoa, Spyro the Dragon, Blinx and Sly Cooper.

		It was a BKN cartoon which also featured Jaleel White as the voice of Sonic (maybe the shows only redeeming factor), silly to the point of bad character designs, silly animation, silly characters and bad presentation with incredibly dumb humour.
		Sonic would also spin dash his enemies, unlike the US cartoons where he would find some other way to beat the enemies like having something drop on their head or what have you.
		The sarcasm of Sonic and the incompetance of Eggman were both well acted, as was everyone else.
