		HARRISBURG: Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Southcentral Regional Acting Director Michael Sherman today announced plans to conduct spraying to control the adult mosquito populations in Lebanon County where the Lebanon County Conservation District and DEP sampling has shown unusually large numbers of mosquitoes that can potentially carry the West Nile virus.
		Spraying will be conducted during the evening of Wednesday, September 17, conditions permitting, in West Cornwall Township, North Cornwall Township and South Annville Township.
		Last year, 62 cases of human West Nile Virus were detected in Pennsylvania resulting in nine fatalities.
