Quite aside from the fact that south London remains one of the poorest-served parts of the country in terms of road capacity, they included some quite astounding ideas of which not one inch saw the light of day.
It begins on the South Cross Route (Ringway 1) at the railway junction in Brixton, following the line south to skirt the edge of Brockwell Park, to the north of Tulse Hill (in earlier plans, meeting the eastern end of the Balham Loop here) and then turning to follow the line south-west through West Norwood.
At South Norwood, it crosses Ringway 2 and there is not enough information to confirm a route.

'South Park' celebrates a decade of decadence
"South Park," the series that made Toon Town unsafe for kids, has turned Barbra Streisand into a fire-breathing monster, locked Tom Cruise in the closet and shown the late Christopher Reeve sucking stem cells out of fetuses.
But the reason the show has survived long enough to kick off its 10th season Wednesday is that it's never shied away from poking fun at another sacred idol: the innocent child.
Another reason the series can react so quickly is that "Park" is primarily driven by Stone and Parker, from the animation to the voices, with little or no influence from outside sources.
