Its member teams are not affiliated with any Major League Baseball team.

League members Tom Dustin and Herb and Charlotte Read led local, state and national efforts that resulted in a portion of the dunes being designated as a national lakeshore in 1966.
During the 1950s, the League helped with the successful effort to require all pulp mills along the Columbia and Willamette rivers to build lagoons for treating polluted wastewater before it was discharged into the rivers.
League members in the state joined the South Dakota Wetlands Coalition to protect the habitat and water quality of Beaver Lake, Red Lake, Lake Thompson and the James River.

Members of the League of Women Voters from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties gathered October 25 for the LWV Southeastern Pennsylvania Region (SEPR) Leadership Training Conference.
The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania Citizen Education Fund held its 12th Annual Civic Leadership Reception on Thursday, October 23rd at PNC Bank in Philadelphia.

The Virginia Inter-League is the effort of five of Virginia Youth Soccer Association's travel leagues to assemble a premier level travel league comprised of each league's best member teams.
The five affiliated leagues are Blue Ridge Classic League (BRCL), Hampton Roads Girls Soccer Association (HRGSA), Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL), Richmond Metropolitan Youth Soccer League (RMYSL), and Southeastern Virginia Youth Soccer Association (SEVYSA).
