Southern Cross Broadcasting has posted a 35 per cent rise in full-year net profit in 2003/04 saying the company's outlook was good as a result of strong advertising revenue.
The broadcaster posted a net profit of $46.225 million for 2003/04, up from $17.02 million in the same period a year earlier.
Southern Cross's chairman, John Dahlsen, said the trading result reflected a big improvement in market conditions in electronic media, with market revenue for metropolitan television increasing 12.6 per cent.
