The Southern League Premier Division is a football league covering central and south western England.
At the end of each season, the winners of the Premier Division (Salisbury City in 2006) are promoted to either Conference North or Conference South, together with the winners of a series of playoffs between the 2nd to 5th placed teams (Bedford Town in 2006).
The division is at the same level as the Northern Premier League Premier Division and the Isthmian League Premier Division.
