		Southland Tales is a 2006 science fiction film, written and directed by Richard Kelly.
		Set in the near future, the film is a portrait of Los Angeles and a comment on the military-industrial newstainment complex.
		Jason Solomons in The Observer said that "Southland Tales was so bad it made me wonder if [Kelly] had ever met a human being" and that ten minutes of the "sprawling, plotless, post-apocalyptic farrago" gave him the "sinking feeling that this may be one of the worst films ever presented in [Cannes] competition."

		I just really wish I could have seen the Cannes cut of Southland.
		I got word from some one who I trust that Southland Tales is close to a distribution deal in the States and that it might not have to be drastically re-edited.

		Read Richard Kelly's "Southland Tales" a couple of weeks back and wanted to share with the Twitch massive, and see if anyone else had read it...
		Personally I thought "Donnie Darko" had a great idea/premise, but the execution really didn't work for me, "Southland" is something else entirely...
