	Soyuz Class
		The aft cargo hold and shuttle bay of the Soyuz class was expanded at the expense of crew quarters and science labs.
		Unfortunately the weakness with the Soyuz Class was with her lack of maneuverability and speed due to the extended aft section of the Soyuz Class that hindered the class in combat situations.
		The Soyuz Class was deemed to be a heavily armed supply ship and was not as versatile as the Miranda Class starship which could perform a variety of tasks.

		In the fictional universe of Star Trek, the Soyuz class of starship was created as an upgrade to the Miranda class starship.
