Space Ghost was headed up the shark ramp with that lame-o inferior NBC version in the 1980s, but did not make the jump until the Cartoon Network did that awful (but successful) talk show.

For those who don’t know, Space Ghost Coast to Coast is on the Cartoon Network and recasts a 1960’s cartoon character as a talk show host.
He died shortly after recording the tracks for Space Ghost and the folks involved in the cartoon production decided to do a tribute that featured his music.
