Nintendo will not be holding its usual showcase event, Spaceworld, in Tokyo this year, opting to put in an appearance at a variety of smaller shows around Japan instead.
Spaceworld has traditionally been the centrepiece of Nintendo's calendar in Japan, offering the company a chance to showcase its latest wares at its own dedicated show.
Although not quite as major an event as the Tokyo Games Show, Spaceworld has always been an important fixture in the gaming calendar in the far east, and will no doubt be missed by Nintendo fans both in Japan and abroad.
