According to police sources, the attacks were carried out by a group of six Moroccans, and it is suspected that one of the bombers died in the blasts, although analysis of the autopsies of the victims had earlier suggested an absence of suicide bombers among the dead.
According to Spanish Interior Minister Ángel Acebes, a Madrid television station Telemadrid received a phone call on 13 March from a man speaking in Arabic with a Moroccan accent announcing that a videotape claiming responsibility for the attacks could be found in a wastebasket near a Madrid mosque.
Spanish authorities, who had been doubtful of the identification, finally announced on 21 May that their initial identification was incorrect, and Mayfield was at last released by the US government.

On 15 March, Spain's ambassador submitted an unapologetic letter updating the Security Council on the progress of the investigation, repeating that the Spanish government had "the strong conviction" that ETA was involved.

I found the vocabulary to be interesting at times but there are so many ways in Spanish to say a word it just depends where a person is from but I think that Barron's tried to use the most generic word at all times.
I really believe the book is good if you want to learn some Spanish vocabulary without having to worry about grammar and sentences etc. If you decide to purchase this book you will instantly increase your vocabulary and most of all know how to say everyday household terms in Spanish.
I speak a fair amount of Spanish, but I found this book to be VERY helpful at the specific terms one encounters with Spanish speaking household helpers.

Aznar sent 1,300 Spanish troops to Iraq after the conflict and 11 have died.
