 PFC Spartak Varna - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
PFC Spartak Varna is a Bulgarian football team based in Varna and founded on 28 August 1918.
The club gets its modern name in 1945 after on 18 October it merges with Levski and Radetski, two other clubs from Varna.
Spartak was actually called JSK-Spartak between 1969 and 1985.

SOFIA, May 18 (Reuters) - Todor Kolev of Spartak Pleven has been suspended for eight matches for headbutting an opponent during a premier league match against Spartak Varna on Thursday, the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) said on Saturday.
The player, who served a previous ban for five games, was sent off in the 90th minute of his team's home match against Spartak Varna after headbutting Varna's Zhelev while play was stopped.
Spartak Pleven won 1-0 with a 26th-minute goal from Kolev.

Dimitar Stoychev has become the latest coaching casualty in Bulgaria after being sacked by PFC Spartak Varna.
According to Spartak president Nikolay Ishkov, the decision to fire Stoychev was taken after the 2-0 home defeat against PFC Litex Lovech which left the club eleventh in the 14-team Bulgarian Premier League.
He joined Spartak Varna, but his reign ultimately lasted only five months.
