		A marching band is a sporting group of instrumental musicians who generally perform outdoors, and who incorporate movement – usually some type of marching – with their musical performance.
		marching band competitions are judged using criteria similar to the criteria used in drum corps competitions, with emphasis on individual aspects of the band (captions for music performance, visual performance, percussion, guard (auxiliary), and general effect are standard).
		March steps and traditional music and drill that are unique to an organization are often taught at a band camp, a time set aside for intense rehearsal before the performance season begins.

		The RCA Dome was fun to march in too, but the acoustics will kill you if you have someone who starts to listen instead of watch.
		From a SW Missouri band parent's perspective, I it's great watching the bands perform at the Ewdard Jones Dome (formerly, TWA Dome) in St. Louis.

		The Spartan Force Marching Band is comprised of the Spartan Goddesses, the dance line; the Spartan Finesse, the flag line; the United Souls of Music, the musical entity; and the Spartan Heat, the drum line.

	Sparrow Foundation: The Children's Miracle Network
		The third annual Spartan Marching Band for Kids Concert, was held at Tim and Cathy Staudt's house September 11, 2005.
