	Mazdaspeeds B spec Miata
		The B spec clocked an average of around 6.7 seconds in the 0-100 km/h (0-62mph) sprint compared to the stock 1.8 litre 9.2 second figure.
		The distinctive whine of the B specs supercharged engine echoed from behind as the super Eunos quickly accelerates from a tight curve in second gear, with the rev counter at 4700 rpm.
		In third gear with the rev counter at 4200rpm the B spec scorches from 80 km/h (50 mph) to 120 km/h (75 mph) in 4.7 seconds.

	Spec Miata Build Up - Another AWR Project
		AWR Racing has recently purchased a donor Miata to build into a Spec Miata for the rapidly growing Spec Miata class.
		AWR has long been the supplier of the "spec" coil over hardware kit that is used in the Spec Miata class and sold exclusively through MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development.
		Donor Miatas can usually be purchased fairly cheaply, with 1990-93 1.6 liter cars coming in under $3000.

		My feelings are that the miata is much more friendly to own and work on.
		choose spec miata do to it is alot cheaper to run and maintain.
		I still think SRF is more of a true spec class and cars throughout the field are far more equal, but SM is still really a hoot and I like the variation of racing another affordable and somewhat "spec" car as the SM.

		It focuses on the rules as set by the Virginia Region of NASA (National Auto Sport Association), which are based on the rules set by Import Motorsports and Driven Performance for SCCA regional races in the SouthWest and NorthEast divisions.
		These differences all make for a cheaper "ready to race" Spec Miata following the NASA rules, but what should be a faster one in SCCA, although I would very much rather have just a single set of nationally acceptable rules.
		As someone who has raced a Spec Miata, let me just say that they are 5X more fun than what you think.

		This new class is called Spec Miata 2 (SM2) and is very similar to the existing popular Spec Miata (SM) class for 1990 — 1997 models.
		There is no restrictor plate required, unlike earlier 1800 cc powered cars running in the SM class, so competitors will be able to run the cars at their full power level.
