	TVR Speed Twelve engine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The TVR Speed Twelve engine is the name of a V12 engine manufactured by TVR for use in the TVR Speed 12 race car, and later the TVR Cerbera Speed Twelve road car in which on the Cerbera Speed 12 went into production.
		Later on, a version was developed for the prototype of a road car to be called the Cerbera Speed Twelve.
		Unusually for an automobile, the Speed Twelve's engine block was not constructed of cast iron or aluminum alloy, but rather of steel.

		As far as I know, the Speed Twelve has never been built for the street...not yet...and only a few testers have ever been unleashed on the track.
		The original "speed 12" car was meant to be a lemans and GT racer (dont know if ive said this b4) and one stipulation of entering these races is there must be a road going version of the car available.
		And yes there is one Cerbera Speed 12 that was sold to a private owner, it was sold for an undisclosed sum and it had to be re-built before it was sold as it had been cannibalised for use as spare parts on the GT racing cars.
