		Although note that the much more recent SpeedRun Benchmark's Memory scores were much higher with the 1GHz upgrade, but I don't know the details of its memory tests.
		Again the more modern benchmark (SpeedRun) shows higher memory scores with the 7455 than GaugePro's dismal results and real-world performance is what matters most of course.

		In case you're unfamiliar with speedruns, a "segmented speedrun" means that you record parts of the game individually, which means that you can do serveral parts of the game over and over again until you get it right.
		It cannot be seen as a world record, though, for various reasons (world records have to be recorded on the original hardware, which is a Nintendo, and they have to be done in one run; rather than segmented parts).
		This is fun to watch for people who are fans of speedruns, especially those who have played the game, so I'm happy with it.

		The speedrun was a single segment run done in Expert Mode acquiring all 15 medals.

		A few minor niggles, the water is underused, the dog looks out of place on it's own, only one secret (though it is a neat one!), the Perforator is overkill on a base level, and the slime at the end is inescapable.
		The author says it is a collection of rooms he had left over, and this is noticable, but not really detrimental, as they have a consistent theme, while offering a varied challenge.
		There are a few texture misalignments, and the theme doesn't live up to the name, but this is definitely a decent level.

		I got the idea for this speedrun when a friend said I should download a sub 2 hour speedrun of LOD.
		I saw why the assassin would have a lot of advantages during a speedrun, but when I saw his fights, especially against act bosses, I become convinced that the sorceress had more potential.
		I hope marsh or someone else tries to improve his assassin speedrun; it would be a fun competition between these two classes to see which is more proficient at speedrunning.

	TEAMShambler FPS Demos and Discussion: Unreal speedrun demos
		It seems http://www.3ddownloads.com/ have changed their download directory structures to something remotely sensible so the links to my demos should now work (albeit via an intermediate window which is typical of gaming download sites).
		Though Unreal has also been run by as a full game run, by Grob at the UDQ site, the demos here are still the only demos that start each level from scratch.
		Excellent speedrun, with an good ASMD trick as a huge shortcut, very cool indeed.

		Personally, I think a non-tool assisted ROM speedrun would be awesome.
		It's probably the first speedrun I've watched in its entirety apart from Mario speedruns where shortcuts are used to beat them in 5 minutes.
		Despite less usage of techniques such as bomb jumping and speed boosting than I expected, it certainly is the best single segment SM speedrun I could ever dream being possible.
