Remarkably, the Finn family still have the shaky, silent 8mm b/w home movie footage they shot from the TV screen the night the boys appeared; a portion of it can be seen in the "Spellbound" documentary.
His regular 'spot' grew out of one of the typical random events that marked their early shows, as Noel recalled in the "Spellbound" documentary.
In the 'Spellbound' documentary, the Enzers recall seeing the entire band lined up in the wings watching them as they played their set.

Saul, the father is mostly oblivious to the events happening around him and when it comes to saving his marriage he figures "he can always masturbate to his memories".
I suspect that the movie, which I'm sure the success of the great documentary Spellbound had an influence in getting it made, will not be able to cover everything that the book deals with.
About half way in things really start to go off in some different directions that I wasn't too keen on and there are many threads left dangling at the end.
