  Spilsby Grammar School Foundation in Lincolnshire
Spilsby Grammar School was founded in 1550 by order of King Edward VI and endowed by the Willoughby family.
The School was funded and administered by Foundation Governors until various Education Acts finally gave the Local Education Authority control of both the running of the School and its funding in 1952.
There are now 6 Trustees-1 the nominee of the Governors of King Edward VI Community College, 1 the nominee of the Vicar and Churchwardens of Spilsby, 1 the nominee of the Spilsby Town Council and 3 Co-opted.

RAF Spilsby was built as a Class A Bomber Station with three concrete runways, of which two were 6000ft (1830 metres) in length and the standard 150ft width.

Spilsby juniors was started during the Summer of 1998 when the Mid-Lincs youth football league accepted our application to enter a single Under 12 team in that years Division C. A committee was formed, funds and sponsorships raised, a constitution adopted and a very successful season follows.
The club is associated with Spilsby Town FC who compete in the Boston and District Premier Football League and who hopefully one day will provide our senior players an opportunity to further their football development.
The club has a happy family atmosphere guided by a very hard working committee and five dedicated managers and has line support from all the parents.
