		Spirit began work on a dedicated Formula One car, the Spirit 101, for 1984, but Honda switched their support to the Williams team, leaving Spirit to use the inferior Hart V6.
		Despite a huge lack of funds, the team began the 1985 season with Baldi and the upgraded 101D, still with the Hart turbo.
		Spirit was a Formula One constructor from Britain.

		Spirit was formed midway through the 1983 Formula One season.
		Unfortunately, the team struggled, and Honda was not convinced that their engines were as slow as what the performance of the Spirit suggested.
		Honda's Turbos, which evolved from the 1983 Spirit models, went on to dominate the late 80's.
