The impact of the Spongmonkeys on the American pop culture can only be compared to when the Beatles crossed the Atlantic.
The HIT and AMA released their ongoing studies into the effects of the Spongmonkeys earlier this morning and announced that the spike in brain activity appears to be from a encrypted layer targeted towards the subliminal part of the brain.
The Spongmonkey's signed a $20 million/5 year deal with Quizno's, a $15 million/5 year deal with Fox for a sitcom, a $10 million/5 year deal with Dynomite Pepper's and a $100k/20 year deal with The Mindless Void.

Well, we looked at the characters, called "Spongmonkeys," and said, "Who's going to relate to these most?" They were dead on with our target audience who are 18-34 year old males.
For the Spongmonkeys, that was definitely the target audience.
So, any concern about how a character relates to the audience depends on what the character is and who the audience is. In this case, we thought they were a perfect marriage.

It seems the ad world is a-buzz about the new campaign recently launched by Quiznos Subs featuring a pair of crudely animated creature-characters, resembling rodents, who go by the official name, Spongmonkeys.
What we didn't want to do was change or redefine who the Spongmonkeys are.
In Quiznos case, they don't have the billions so they need guys like the Spongmonkeys on their side.
