  Spot
The inherent confusion in the records of so many Spots with their changes of ownership and location was compounded in the case of the two Hutton's Spots by changes of both name and ownership of the dam of one of them.
The earlier Hutton's Spot (1728) is traditionally accorded celebrity as the sire of Sister to Stripling, the taproot mare of Family 16, along with other worthy offspring, whereas the credit is due to the later Hutton's Spot (1735).

G-spot - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Gräfenberg spot, or G-spot, is a small area in the genital area of women behind the pubic bone and surrounding the urethra.
For some women, it can be a primary source of stimulation leading to orgasm during intercourse while having sex in positions that use the penis to stimulate the frontal wall of the vagina.
Natalie Angier contends that it is merely the deep nerves of the clitoris as they pass through the tissue to connect with the spinal column.

Spot Metering (Spotmetering): Digital / 35mm / Medium Format!
Another method of measuring the accuracy of the on-camera spot meter is to measure the area of the viewfinder that the spot-circle (or the spot frame) occupies.
Spot metering is the skilled photographer's method of determining the distant subject's correct exposure (or the desired exposure).
Due to its nature, spot metering is slow and in situations where one does not have the time to think, when one's life is in danger, or when the image content is more important than of the image quality (battle field photography), other metering modes that lend themselves to point-and-shoot need to be utilized.

SPACE.com -- Mystery Spot on Jupiter Baffles Astronomers
Jupiter's complex atmosphere is known to generate ephemeral spots, whirls and cloud formations of various sorts.
"Spots of various shades depending on the chemical composition of the gases involved in the process are observed from time to time," Dighaye said.
It is not known if the spot is purely an atmospheric phenomenon or if it might have been generated by some foreign object, though the latter possibility is doubted.

Paul Thurrott's SuperSite for Windows: Smart Personal Object Technology (SPOT) Preview
For the first generation of SPOT devices, Microsoft is focusing on time pieces such as wristwatches and alarm clocks, which seems logical enough as these devices are already designed to display critical information.
I suspect Microsoft won't appreciate this comparison very much, but the SPOT watches are basically an evolution of the Timex Data Sync watches, which is obvious when you consider the functional similarities.
SPOT devices wouldn't be too exciting on their own, especially if users had to manually connect to a Web site or an application to synchronize data.

Blind spots   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-10)
Because of this, you should have a "blind spot" (actually two, one for each eye), a place pretty much in the middle of what you can see where you can't see.
Maybe the blind spot for one eye is at a different place than the blind spot for the other (this is actually true), so you don't notice it because each eye sees what the other doesn't.
The spot disappears because it falls on the optic nerve head, the hole in the photoreceptor sheet.

The SPOT antenna runs through the rubber of the strap, and it is only able to work when the deployment clasp is shut tight.
She then asked if the added faces would justify buying the watch if you didn't have access to the SPOT features and the watch was performing "strictly as a watch only," which is what I was replying to.

Titan's odd spot could be a cloud, but if so, it's a persistent one.
Seen near Titan's upper edge in this false-color image from the VIMS instrument, the spot is almost 500 kilometers wide, and is brightest at infrared wavelengths.
In addition to suggesting the uniquely colored spot is a persistent cloud possibly controlled by surface features, researchers also entertain the idea that the spot is caused by unusual surface material or extremely tall mountains.

By utilizing two gold "nano rods" separated by a 30 nanometer gap, they have devised a method for a laser sporting an 830 nanometer wavelength to focus its beam onto a 40 nanometer area, allowing for mind boggling amounts of data to be written to an optical disc.
Usually when manufacturers unleash several new cameras upon us, it takes awhile to weed through the specs in order to spot their differences and identify the features that consumers will find most compelling, but as luck would have it, Rollei's da-series of unremarkable shooters tend to completely lack innovation from generation to generation.

The G-spot (or Grafenberg spot) is a dime- to half-dollar sized area of especially high sensitivity, situated beneath the surface of a woman's vagina on the wall toward the front of her body.

SPACE.com -- Surprise! Jupiter Has A New Red Spot
A similar merger that happened centuries ago may have created the original Great Red Spot, a storm twice as wide as our planet and at least 300 years old.
A favorite idea is that the storm dredges material from deep beneath Jupiter's cloudtops and lifts it to high altitudes where solar ultraviolet radiation--via some unknown chemical reaction—produces the familiar brick color.
"The Great Red Spot is the most powerful storm on Jupiter, indeed, in the whole solar system," said Glenn Orton, an astronomer at JPL who specializes in studies of storms on Jupiter and other giant planets.
