Film — also called movies, the cinema, the silver screen, moving pictures, photoplays, picture shows, flicks, or motion pictures, — is a field that encompasses motion pictures as an art form or as part of the entertainment industry.
Originally moving picture film was shot at various speeds using hand-cranked cameras; then the speed for mechanized cameras and projectors was standardized at 16 frames per second, which was faster than much existing hand-cranked footage.
Film preservation of decaying film stock is a matter of concern to both film historians and archivists, and to companies interested in preserving their existing products in order to make them available to future generations (and thereby increase revenue).

This beautifully constructed film, in which the personal and cultural struggles of a young fl gay artist are juxtaposed against a somewhat fictionalized version of the Harlem Renaissance, is a terrific debut by director Rodney Evans.
Widely derided as Islamic propaganda, the film is surprisingly sympathetic to those caught in the middle, such as U.S. Marine press spokesman Lt. Josh Rushing, who, unlike the Pentagon civilians he reported to, at least tried to understand the people and culture he was dealing with.
This may be the gayest mainstream film of the year, but Almodovar handles the gay themes as being merely part of the plot just as sexuality would be in a film with straight characters, making this film an important milestone in bridging the divide between gay and straight cinema.

He and the rest of the cast are fabulous in "Sprung," a film that at first glance doesn't look like anything more than another sex comedy.
Cundieff fills the film with theatrical touches like animation, split screens, fairytale trimmings, and within the context of the film they work incredibly well.
As for the film, there's enough laughs and heart in it to make more than one viewing worth the time and effort.

Much like the unloved B.A.P.S., Sprung is urban froth reworked from the fl perspective, as culled from a generation of Hollywood's old-fashioned romantic comedies.

How do websites develop photos? in The AnswerBank: Internet & Technology
A lot of websites have sprung up recently that develop your prints for you, this basically replaces your traditional photo developer, instead you send your undeveloped film to your chosen website, they develop the photos and instead of sending them back to you, they post them up on an online gallery.
This is a great site because it not only processes the film you send them and creates an online gallery for your photos, it also allows you to upload your own shots from a digital camera.
So much so that I think it does not process ordinary film in the traditional way on its website, you have to have it scanned at a Kodak shop which is easy enough to do.

With this, his third directorial effort, Cundieff reinforces an impression that he has given viewers in his two previous movies (Fear of a Black Hat, Tales from the Hood): he knows how to make audiences laugh but is unwilling to try something truly ambitious.
Sprung starts out like any number of raunchy sex comedies, with a couple of horny guys (Cundieff as Montel and Joe Torry as Clyde) on the make at a party.
Ultimately, Sprung is probably a little too uneven and familiar to be worth taking a trip to a movie theater for, but it is solid enough to provide an evening's diversion once it makes its way to your neighborhood video store.
