	Squig - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Squigs are fictional creatures from the Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 universes.
		The term "Squig" is a contraction of Squiggly Beast, and refers to a race of half-flesh/half-fungus creatures.
		Squigs come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and all are extensively used by the Orcs (and Goblins) in Fantasy and Orks in Warhammer 40,000.

		Movement: Squigs have a random movement of D6+2 squares, and they must use all of their movement, they may never "go for it", also they do not declare blocks or blitzes and their "blitzes" do not count as their team's blitz for that turn.
		Squigs move towards the nearest model and if they have enough movement they will block/blitz and frenzy that model till it is down or they run out of movement, if they have movement left they will move towards the next nearest model.
		Squigs must move after fanatics but before the rest of the team, or their team will suffer a turnover, as per fanatics (this means that no squig may be moved before a fanatic, and no squig may be moved after a non-squig/non-fanatic)

		As far as moving a squig goes, I believe the above quotes could be sufficient to imply that a goblin has fairly decent control over the beast, but another quote might further support this: "Cave Squigs do not have a set Movement characteristic but move with an ungainly bouncing stride.
		A squig is smart enough not to intentionally throw itself off a building if both he and his goblin masters are in agreement on the issue.
		So if squigs were ment to only move in straight lines, that seems like an obvious thing for the warbands designer just to leave out.
