St Anne and St Agnes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
St Anne and St Agnes is an Anglican church located at Gresham Street in the City of London, near the Barbican.
St Anne and St Agnes was rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren in 1680, with possible contributions from Robert Hooke.
The small brick church is of an unusual design in London, being based on that of a Greek cross; it utilises a vaulted square within a square, a formula based on the Nieuwe Kerk in Haarlem in the Netherlands.

Anne (St.) and St. Agnes | British History Online
It seems also to have been described variously as St. Anne (q.v.) and also as St. Agnes (q.v.), and it was probably one parish and church with a double dedication, as the names do not appear separately in any one list of churches and parishes, but sometimes one designation is used and sometimes another.
It was rebuilt after the Fire by Sir C. Wren and the parish of St. John Zachary united to it.
The dedication is to the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary and to St. Agnes, the virgin-martyr, who suffered about 304.
