At the north-east corner of the grounds, at the edge of St. Brides haven stands the tiny church of St. Brides.

I have built mine as HMS St Brides Bay as in 1950.
The internals of the hull are made from 1/4" square wood and glued round the inside of the hull at the depth required to allow the deck to sit in place.
Bridge details are added with positions for the equipment being taken from photographs and the Recollections of the St Brides Bay Association members.

The heritage coast runs for 5 miles along the open shore of St. Brides Bay, between the headlands of St. David's and Marloes.
The actual village of St. Bride's is nowhere near the heritage coast - in fact it is encompassed by the Marloes and Dale Heritage Coast further south.
Brides Bay is an area of high cliffs and broad, sandy beaches, popular with holiday makers in the summer months.

St Davids is really a large village but because it has a World Heritage Site cathedral it becomes a city and was given this "official" status by the Queen in 1995.
We enjoyed the location very much as it is within the heart of St Davids and all it's amenities and very close to some of Pembrokeshire's spectacular coast line.
All in all a superb area to relax and wind down in as St David's is so far west it feels quite remote from the stresses and strains of every day living, almost in a tiny time warp.
