The weather over the past 2 weeks has settled into a very good pattern maintaining good sea surface temperature from 17 C to 19 C. The highlight last week was the arrival of yellowfin tuna in excess of 70 kgs - world class gamefish in anyones language.
The good fishing has very much been scattered from only a mile off St. Helens to 20 mile out, which has added a degree of difficulty in deciding where to go fishing for the day.
Bait schools continue to be moving in especially in areas such as the inshore reefs and redbait especially.
