St Leonards though could have pulled a goal back on 36 minutes when Lee Hook pulled off a magnificent save as he tipped a Monroe shot onto the bar.
The St Leonards Manager could be heard giving his side a real roasting at half time but it was Sittingbourne who started the second half the better as both Drury and Kieran Marsh troubled the St Leonards defence.
St Leonards were not showing any urgency and the Brickies seem to have the run of the park.

Sittingbourne secured their third double of the season but were somewhat fortunate to bring away all three points from a St Leonards' team who fought well throughout the match but squandered a host of good chances.
St Leonard's should have taken the lead on 11 minutes when a Ray free kick whistled across the Brickies goal but somehow eluded the unmarked Richard Callaway and Ray.
St Leonards were not yet finished and on 86 minutes Godden forced a great save from Hook, whilst at the other end Andrew Drury walked around Ray and Elford before passing inside to Marsh who in a good position fired wide.

Flamstead's parish church is dedicated to Saint Leonard, a somewhat obscure sixth century monk from Noblat.
Although the tower the pillars, the aisles and half the chapel are twelfth-thirteenth century, it is believed that the site is that of a ninth century Saxon chapel.
The visitor should particularly note the medieval wall paintings in the nave and north aisle, the Elizabethan graffiti on the pillars, the Saunders memorial in the south aisle and the Sebright memorial in the chancel.

 Upton St Leonards War Memorial
This page is concerned with the war memorial in the village of Upton St. Leonards, Gloucestershire.
The initial plan was for a large cross on a site facing the church in Upton St Leonards.
A letter was sent to Upton St Leonards residents in 1949 requesting donations to provide a bronze plaque in the local church to commemorate those local people who had died during World War Two; the total cost being £150.
