Merton College is offering three or four Domus Graduate Scholarships in 1999, in two separate competitions, A and B. The scholarships are intended to assist students of outstanding academic excellence who for financial reasons would not otherwise be able to study at the University of Oxford.

Dunstan's is the Episcopal Church at Auburn University, an official student organization, and a healthy and welcoming place of Anglican worship, Bible study, and Christian community.

Building upon the academic traditions of its predecessor institutions, Prince of Wales College and StDunstan's University, UPEI explores innovative methods of teaching and features a strong network of faculty, staff, and student researchers in every discipline.
Following the recommendations of a royal commission into the province's postsecondary education system, Prince of Wales College and St. Dunstan's University were merged into the University of Prince Edward Island in 1969.
The university also offers a certificate and a diploma program in public administration; certificate programs in human resource management and management development for women; diploma programs in school librarianship, adult education, and inclusive education; and a three-year diploma program in engineering.

Dunstan Gerbert Raphael St. Omer was born in Castries, St. Lucia, on the 24th October 1927, the second son of Gerald and Louisa St. Omer.
This means that in every reputable university and Theological Institute in the world, students will be exposed to St. Omer’s mural through this study.
Dunstan St. Omer has given St. Lucia international recognition as one of the principal muralists in the region, and undoubtedly the premier Catholic muralist in the Caribbean.

Organist of St. Paul's Cathedral, Organist and Composer to the Chapel Royal, Professor of Music at Cambridge University and Master of the King's Musick.
In March 1714 at the age of 17 he began his first musical post as organist at St. Dunstan-in-the-West, Fleet Street.
In this post he was responsible for the music at the Cathedral services and also at the annual Sons of the Clergy festival.

After studies at the Jesuit Theological Union at the University of California, Bishop Fougere served in Saint Joseph's Parish in Bras d'Or and Saint Augustine's in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
After graduating from Saint Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, he did his theological studies at the Grand Séminaire de Montréal.
On December 11, 1991 Pope John Paul II appointed Joseph Vernon Fougere as the twelfth Bishop of Charlottetown, and he was Consecrated and Installed at St. Dunstan's Basilica, on March 19, 1992.

Non-denominational university established in 1969 by the amalgamation of Prince of Wales College, founded in 1834, and St Dunstan's U, founded in 1855.
William A. Bartlett was responsible for the university band 1972-7 and was succeeded in turn by Marc Apelstadt, Hubert Tersteeg, David Shephard, Eila Peterson, and Gregory Irvine.
Thomas Hahn, the first chairman of the new university's Dept of Music, also served 1969-70 as conductor of the Prince Edward Island Symphony Orchestra.

The story is a very old one, and according to Abbo of Fleury (9451004), St Edmunds earliest biographer, it was told him by Dunstan, who heard it from the 11ps of Edmunds own standard-bearer.

Edward MacDonald has commented on the importance of Connolly's charity to St. Dunstan's in The History of St. Dunstan's University 1855—1956 (Charlottetown: Board of Governors of St. Dunstan's University and Prince Edward Island Museum and Heritage Foundation, 1989).
He was one of the thousands of Irish immigrants, chiefly from the County of Monaghan, to arrive on Prince Edward Island in the 1830s and 40s, seeking relief from the poverty, overpopulation, and inequitable land system of their homeland.
What he did have was a great deal of cleverness, business sense, and a generous personality, characteristics that would grant him a unique place in the business history of the Island and make him one of our most important entrepreneurs.

Sister Bernice Cullen, CSM, became not only the first woman graduate at St. Dunstans, but also the first person ever to receive a St. Dunstans degree.
She graduated summa cum laude in 1941, the year the university first exercised its charter.” Full University powers, including the granting of degrees, were granted by an act of the PEI Legislature in 1917.
Part of the building was a convent that housed six Sisters of St. Martha (staff and faculty members), student lounges (including one for the women day students), and laundry facilities.

at Flume Ridge, Charlotte County, New Brunswick, 1862), received his early education in the public schools of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, and afterwards studied at St. Joseph's College, Memramcook, and at Laval University, Quebec; he was ordained priest 29 June, 1886.
In the summer of 1899 he applied to Rome for a coadjutor, and Rev. Timothy Gassy, pastor of St. Dunstan's Church, Fredericton, was appointed.
The Catholic settlement of Johnville, Carleton County, was established by him, and grew into a flourishing colony under his encouragement.

In the 1960s new public schools were constructed in the community and in 1969 the city became home to the amalgamated University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), located on the campus of the former St. Dunstan's University.
Fortunately the decline of shipbuilding was supersceded by August 1874 when the Prince Edward Island Railway opened its main line between Charlottetown and Summerside.
