More problematic is finding equivalents for less-known, more specific ranks or those of other national Armed Forces.
What, for instance, is the equivalent to the British Field Marshal, the Greek Pterarchos, or a German Stabshauptmann?
As it is with most fields you can get into while translating, many of the ranks simply lack equivalents or have more than one.
